
In this course, students will:

Be introduced to a variety of watercolor techniques and materials

Grow in their understanding of color theory as it relates to art

Learn and be encouraged to to use art terminology and vocabulary

Gain an understanding of the different materials used in watercolor art and take responsibility for the care of their own supplies

Practice analyzing art in an open, supportive environment

Be empowered to experiment as they build their skill with a positive growth mindset

Enjoy socialization and discussion with other creative students

Have the opportunity to present and talk about their works in a final showcase for friends and families


Exploring Watercolors
Suitable for ages 9 and up - 10-week course

Registration:
$160 for 1st student, $75 per additional student within the same family (some shared supplies).
Supplies are provided for students to keep and are included in the registration fee.
Each set is capped at a maximum of 7 students. Registration closes Friday, January 21st.

About the Instructor:
Erin Kempfert is a 4th generation professional artist and 3rd generation educator who sold her first piece of artwork at age 10. Erin works in a variety of media and has a passion for introducing others to art. Erin enjoys working with kids and adults and believes that creativity is a skill that can be learned and developed.
